Directions

From the North or South

Exit the M6 at Junction 40, take the A66 for Scotch Corner, 3 miles north of Appleby turn right following the sign for Bolton (1 mile). Go through the village - past the church on your right and the Eden Vale Inn on your left. The Post Office is on your left, ignore the first turning on the left, then 30 yds further at the crossroads, turn left following the signpost for Colby. 30 yds on the right is a telephone box. Orchard Cottage is the next cottage on the right by the field.

From the East or the Midlands

Exit the A1 at Scotch Corner and follow the A66. The Bolton turn-off is about three miles after the Appleby turn-off on the left.
